Aloha mai! I am a dog mama of 3+ years who has grown up with dogs, and walked professionally for Dog Walkers Etc. and Wagalong. I live in Makiki/Honolulu & my 'ohana is from Hawai'i. I am a full-time early childhood educator in Hawai'i who doesn't earn enough money, despite my master's degree in Education, to even cover my rent with one paycheck. So I'm hustling in whatever way I can think up in order to survive, and treat my dog like the well-cared for prince that he is. And I would treat your dog the same way. 🐶👑 Need a dog walker/ dog auntie to watch your dog while you go on vaycay? Walk with Rox!

Because I have previous experience as a professional dog walker, I have tactical knowledge of dog behavior and using helpful tools like a splitter, Hermsprenger., and front-lead harness. From the particular and spoiled-yet-adorable yorkie, to walking 3 Aussies at once, to an anxious GSH, a Rottweiler, to your perfectly behaved labradoodle, I've walked a LOT of dogs. I'm very good at training puppies and I'm happy to bring my own dog along who loves playing with puppies and can help to get your pup lots of exercise! Note: I do not feel comfortable walking leash-reactive large breeds. Small and leash-reactive? No problem. But if your dog is large *and* well-behaved on leash, we should be good to go! ☺️🐶🐾

It is important for me to know ahead of time if your dog has any special needs and considerations, what their temperament is like, if there have been any recent deviations from their typical health/ wellness, and any quirks I might anticipate on a walk. Please also let me know if you prefer that we not take any pictures, or if there are any other behaviors you prefer to prevent, such as eating grass.
A typical day
I take my own pup on a minimum of 3 walks per day rain or shine. We typically hit up the dog park, or go to the beach, or go on a hike each and every day. I know how important activity is for a well-behaved, happy, peaceful dog! You can expect me to walk your dog around your neighborhood while safely avoiding contact with other dogs while walking. In your home I'm happy to clean up after your pet if needed, refresh water bowls, wipe them down after a walk, and play with them. I can also work on obedience training & tricks.

Availability
I am available for dog walks M-F from 9am to 3pm. I'm also available to board in your home upon request. I can bathe your dog, clip nails, administer topical meds, and most importantly play with your pup & give them lots of love and attention!
