Pet care experience
I began caring for animals at the age of 16 (16 years ago!). I started working with cats and walking dogs and then ended up in the animal medical field as a vet technician. This was the job I kept throughout high school and college working from private practices to non-profit shelters. While I do not work as a vet technician any longer I am still the same animal lover and expert. I have a rescue dog of my own, the sweetest 80 lb pit bull named Max! Max is my only pet and loves all dogs. I have never walked dogs for a company before, but I have taken care of multiple dogs, and other animals for family and friends. I know your dog will be in great hand with me!

I worked with Roxanne a few years back at a veterinarian clinic in Portland. She was always a pleasure to work with, always on time, always first to take initiative with patients and clients, and has a real love for animals that has always shown through her work. Her huge heart, strong work ethic, and dedication make her such a pleasant person to work with. I feel any animal under her care would be well taken care of and any owner would be beyond pleased with the amount of care given to their pet.

No breed preferences. I have worked with many breeds with many demeanors, even special needs. A history of medical ailments and behaviors (anxiety or aggression) will be helpful, but not a deal breaker - I have history working with dogs that require medication, extra care or rehabilitation.
A typical day
I enjoy walks in the beautiful parks of Portland (especially Laurelhurst and Peninsula Park). We can play fetch for as long as we need to, rain or shine. If the pup is up for it, an easy hike would be rad!
