Hello...thanks for browsing. I'm Roxanne and my sidekick's name is Polly! We are brand new to the Santa Monica area, and would love to make friends with your pup while you're away! Here are some helpful tidbits about Polly and I: - I am a work from home professional. Polly is a sweet, medium size docile 5 year old rescue. - Everyday I walk Polly 4x a day, and on the weekends we hike or visit the Redondo Beach dog park. - 1x a week we go for a 3 mile run (Polly is getting older and this is her limit) - I love Rover because it allows Polly to play with another dog without actually committing to having another - I am a big dog lover (the kind of person that can't see a dog without petting it ) - I have experience with Rover.com while living in downtown LA - I have fostered dogs in the past - Polly especially loves little dogs. I'm not sure what it is but little dogs are infatuated with Polly. :) I think she likes the attention. Why I love dog sitting I have grown up with dogs all my life- from yorkies to labradors. I can't imagine life without a dog. Meet my pets Polly is a 5 year 45 yr old rescue dog. She's got a little bit of everything: lab, shepherd, whippet. When she's not chasing tennis balls, you can usually find her in snuggle mode.

Roxanne was great and very accommodating. We had a miscommunication (as it was my first time booking, I didn't really understand the system yet) and she generously drove out to my home to pick Poppy up after we failed to connect that morning. I appreciated getting photos throughout the day.

Roxanne is the best!!! We have a 1 and a half year old Boston Terrier named Emma who is so full of energy and Roxanne didn’t have any issues with her during the holidays. She sent us pictures and lots of updates which helped ease our minds while we were at work/out of town. She is very flexible and was able to accommodate our last minute booking requests. We can also tell that our Emma really enjoys staying with her because each time she gets picked up, she walks away with her tail wagging and doesn’t look back – like we don’t exist! But we don’t mind that. Emma is always happy to see her and we are also happy we found Roxanne and will definitely call her again for our dog sitting needs. We give her five stars!

Time I'll spend with your dog I work from home so I leave probably once a day for about 1-2 hours to grab dinner, run an errand, etc
