Roxannes'sDog Ranch CertDog Trainer

Pet care experience

*ALL dogs MUST be up to date with their shots! Meet & Greets are a must because I have to evaluate your dog to see if it will get along with my well managed pack. I have questions that ALL Dog parents must answer before I am willing to do a M & G. This is not a Gig job for me as I have a Business License & am Insured in Dog Care. I also work w/The Vanderpump Rescue w/decades of experience. I DO NOT take tall-large dogs, only Medium-Small dogs at this time.I will give excellent care to your dog. If you are looking for discounts, please choose another sitter. Thank you for reading this, it saves us both time. Your dog is Safe & in Excellent hands. I know what I am doing, so there is no need for worry whatsoever because your dog's care is my # ONE Priority! I have a HUGE-Secure yard 4 Well-Vetted dogs. Caring for many Breeds has given me the familiarity & many years of experience that puts me beyond the rest of the crowd. I ask several filter questions to adhere to my safety rules which you can find here on the site & I will send them to you once you reach out to me. *Pit bulls, Pit Bull mixes (American Staffordshire Terrier) or aggressive dogs, please find another sitter here on Rover. For liability issues, my home insurance does not cover having these dogs on the premises. My home & yard are both Always clean, I pay people to keep everything clean. Dogs play the majority of the time outside in the large, shaded yard and they just love it! I send pictures of your dog daily to put a smile on your face so that you know that your dog is being well cared for! *Daycare Hours: 8 Hours, Over 8 hours: $5.00 per hour additionally *Dog Boarding is a 24 hour cycle from the drop off time. *Over 24 hours goes into Day Care Fees. *Holidays are $10 more for both Boarding & Daycare. **Advanced Senior Care & Special Needs: Max: $200. a night Senior Care varies, the price will depend on how much work & medications are involved & I do insist that you give me complete disclosure about your dog! Drop offs & pick up Times: Mon-Sun: 8:00AM-9PM I have a "Do Not Disturb" on my phone so late texts will be received at 7:45am. Bring all necessary things that your dog needs in a bag, NO bowls, I have plenty. If they use pee pads, please bring plenty of them. I DO NOT take care for dogs that have contagious diseases. Food: $5.00 a day if I have to feed your dog because you forgot yours or it ran out. I suggest that you over anticipate the amount of what your dog needs to prevent your dog from running out of his or her food. Sometimes plans change & your dog ends up staying here longer for a variety of reasons. *Unused food will always be returned. **Bring a measuring cup with the food. Many labels are not carried by Petco or PetSmart, therefore it's very difficult for me to find your dogs food if they run out. You can always Amazon it to me. $25. charge for the time to go to the store plus the cost in case you forget the food. You can always Amazon Prime the food to me. I have been doing this for a long time & I have a Business License & am insured outside of Rover. Due to limited space, my preferences are to take dogs that are well behaved & under 40 pounds. *I look forward to meeting you with your both. Any more questions that you have, I will be happy to answer & I look forward to meeting you & your precious Fur-Child! About Roxanne: It is important when you leave your pet in someone’s care, you can relax and know they will be well taken care of. I started my licensed business in the 90's because I myself have hired people to care for my own animals & had the same expectations as well as disappointing "let downs!" I am completely devoted to giving animals the best possible experience when they are under my supervision. I am a certified Dog Trainer so there will be a lot of advantages bringing your dog to me! I was involved with a rescue organization for over 10 years in the late 90's and have come across a huge array of circumstances in dealing with animals. Rest assured, I know what I am doing, I have excellent instincts, and I have a deep connection with animals. Being a pet lover runs in my family. My grandmother was the owner and trainer of the chimpanzee in the Tarzan pictures back in the 50s. My Aunt Bernice and Uncle George were the MGM trainers for all the wildlife and domesticated animals used in all the films back in the 50s and 60s. As a child, I always felt lucky because my mother allowed me to follow my intuition and rescue every lizard, bird, frog, cat, and dog that I felt needed extra love, care and attention. It didn’t take me long to figure out that I have a passion for both rescuing and an innate ability to care for all types of animals, especially cats and dogs. I learned at a young age that I had a special connection with animals and as an adult, I was able to channel my passion into a career where I get to provide cats and dogs with love and special attention. In addition to having cared for approximately 75 of my own pets over the last 36 years, I also spent 10 years volunteering for a rescue group called New Hope for Animals in Los Angeles. My experience there was incredibly rewarding and quite the education! Please let me prove to you that your pets will be in the best hands! I would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best service in the industry. **Why I love caring for dogs: My first experience was when I was 1 year old, we had a German Shepard named "Rusty." I remember growing up with her & the bond that we had. As a child, I considered our pets as part of our family & our family always had dogs as well as other animals which made my life feel full of love! I come from a background of animals trainers & cannot think of a time that I was without a cat or dog! They are an intricate part of my life, always have been, & always will be! *Thank you for reading my profile. ROVER customer Service will help you with any questions or assist you with any concerns that you may have. About my yard My yard is very spacious, clean, fully fenced in & is doggie proofed with plenty of water for hydration. There are areas of shade from the huge Avocado tree & sun for sunbathing which all of the dogs love! People are shocked when they see this best little kept secret in the heart of Hollywood! Pictures are on this site.

Roxanne has watched our dogs for over a year and a half, and even though we live farther away, my husband and I would not look for another sitter because Roxanne is excellent, and our boys always have a good time at her place. Also, Roxanne is dependable, and whenever we need her, she makes herself available. It feels nice knowing that my pups are in good hands. I love that Roxanne constantly sends updates and photos of our pups, which puts us at ease, especially when traveling. We are grateful to have Roxanne a part of our lives!

We trust Roxanne to look after our dog, Katie, whether it's just for one night or for an entire week when we had a medical emergency. Katie gets excited as we drive up to Roxanne's house because she knows she's going to have fun there. And Roxanne keeps in touch, sending us pictures of Katie playing with the other dogs.

Safety, trust & environment

Safety is my number one concern when I take in a dog for boarding and/or daycare & that's why I take the time to make sure the dogs here are properly evaluated & vetted. My yard is over-the-top secured. I urge people during a meet & grees to walk around & observe everything so that they have peace of mind. My home is clean & air conditioned. I also have 4 air cleaners in the rooms so that it's very healthy for them to be here.

My home Insurance does not allow me to have the aggressive breeds on the premises for liability purposes. People with Pit Bulls or other aggressive breeds, please find another sitter. Is your dog spayed or neutered? Is your dog up to date with his or her shots, including Bordetella? Is your dog Flea treated? Is your dog house broken? Is your dog socialized? Does your dog have any quirks, strange behavior, or allergies that I should know about? Does your dog have any quirks, triggers, or aggressive tendencies that I should know about? Does your dog have any contagious diseases like Girardia? Does your dog have any health issues that I should know about? Is your dog crate trained? I have a limit on how many dogs that I take especially during the **Holidays. Booking should be way in advance because I do get filled up quickly for the major Holidays. These questions answered gives me the knowledge that I need & allows me to take excellent care of your dog as well as protect other dogs that visit for daycare or stay overnight. Drop offs & pick up Times: Mon-Sun: 8:00AM-9PM No Late Night Drop offs or Pick Ups! My phone has a Do Not Disturb on all hours outside hours above.

Being a Certified Trainer leaves me no choice but to have all of the dogs here working together for harmony. They will learn a lot while they are here. I Love my what I do & I have a huge yard. I do not walk your dog on the street. Many people prefer that their dogs are not walked & prefer that they have a yard to play with the others & get exhausted that way, therefore keeping them safe. Safety is at the utmost of my priorities & you can rest assured that your dog will be taken excellent care of and will come home happy & tired from all of the activity. Your dog's sleeping arrangement: Because I am a Certified Dog Trainer & safety is my utmost concern, ALL dogs sleep in a crate at night. If your dog is not crate trained, rest assured he or she sees the others go into a crate & wants one for himself. Occasionally, if an older dog has never been in a crate, he or she can sleep on the doggy bed in my bedroom. Time I'll spend with your dog: Most of the time unless I need to run a quick errand. They will be very well cared for & maybe not want to go home at all! That happens more times than I can count! The dogs just love it here & love having a strong leader (me)! They get plenty of fun time with each other in the yard while I watch them.
