Safety and immaculate care are my absolute priorities. To maintain this standard, a brief meet-and-greet is mandatory for all new clients. Our Clean, Safe, & Premium Environment Secure Grounds: A huge, clean, and highly secure yard for well-vetted, friendly dogs. Climate & Air Quality: Equipped with central air conditioning and three high-efficiency air purifiers. Immaculate Standards: Professional house cleaning and weekly gardening services ensure a pristine environment for both the dogs and myself. Health Requirements: All guests must be fully up-to-date on all vaccinations. Expertise & Specialized Background Animal care runs deeply in my family line. My grandmother was the owner and trainer of the chimpanzees in the 1950s Tarzan films, and my aunt and uncle were renowned MGM Studio trainers for both wild and domesticated animals in the '50s and '60s. Carrying on that legacy, I have spent a lifetime working with animals, including: Rescue Experience: 10 years volunteering with New Hope for Animals in Los Angeles. Behavioral Familiarity: Work with Vanderpump Rescue has given me deep experience with unique dog quirks, specific issues, and behavioral needs. Booking Policies & Transparency To keep my business running smoothly and fairly for all pet parents, I enforce the following operational guidelines: What to Pack: Please pack your dog’s standard food (plus a 2-day surplus in case of travel delays) and a food measuring cup in a travel bag. Do not bring bowls—I provide clean, premium glass bowls. If your dog runs out of food and a specialty store run is required to purchase your specific brand, a $25 time-and-travel fee plus the cost of food will apply (unused food is always returned). Vetting: I ask several safety filtering questions upon request. Please answer these promptly so we can adhere to safety guidelines. 24-Hour Hold: If I do not hear back from you within 24 to 36 hours of my response, your request will be archived to free up space for other parents. Breed Restrictions: Due to strict home insurance liability clauses, I cannot host Pit Bulls, Pit Bull mixes, or dogs with any history of aggression. Contagious Illnesses: I strictly do not accept dogs with active contagious diseases. Custom Rates & Holiday Billing Holiday Pricing: Rover automatically applies holiday rates to entire bookings. Because I believe holiday rates should only apply to the actual holiday weekend, I manually adjust your bill to reflect a $10/night holiday increase only for the specific holiday dates. Specialized Care: Advanced senior or medical special-needs care is priced at $150-$200 a night depending on the circumstances. Medication Fees: Simple once-a-day medication administration is free. Complex regimens (2-4 times daily) incur a standard custom charge of $5–$10/day depending on complexity.
