Pet care experience
I truly love all pets, am professional, and would treat any pet as my own, with love and care; and if the owner would like, plenty of healthy walks! I love exercise as much as I love dogs, and combining the two is even better! ( Before reading further, please feel free to ask any questions you may have about my services. This site can be confusing and things may be able to be adjusted). I had my own dog for years as a child which I took good care of, which passed with old age. Now, I don’t have one due my schedule, but I often take care of my brothers’ dog overnight as well as walking friends’ dogs when they are away. I don’t own a dog now, due to my current job requiring travel at times, so this job would make up for that by helping other people’s dogs and I can put my love of pets to work.

Roxanne is the most responsible person that you will ever hire. She is dedicated and very loyal. I served with Roxanne in the military and she was a great leader. Due to the fact that Roxanne is humble, I can go on to tell you the million great qualities that she posset. Well, besides being loyal, dedicated, responsible and humble, she is also kind and caring. Roxanne goes out of her way to help anyone in need. There is no surprise that Roxanne would to work with dogs (or any animals) because she has a loving heart). Roxanne is also physically fit, she has never failed a Army PT test. She sets her standards high and her goals even higher. She can and does accomplishes whatever she sets out to do. If Roxanne would be applying to work for me at the United States Post Office, I would hire her without a second thought.
I have known Roxanne for a few years now in the Army reserves. With the time I’ve gotten to know her I have learned that she is a very good person and is willing to help anybody out the best she can. She is a very good soldier and a very good person and somebody I would trust my animals with.
Roxanne is a wonderful person and someone who will go the extra mile to ensure your dog is taken care of properly. She cares deeply about my dog and it shows through her work.

I would prefer to go to the clients’ home for walks and drop-in visit requests, instead of boarding the pets in my home (for now), and will follow the instructions given by the owner as to how to care for the pet at that time and place. I will not do anything that is morally or ethically wrong for the pet or myself. I will care for the pet as though it is my own, with care, professionalism, and positive attention. Although my area allows dogs, we would need to pay fees to have a dog and I don’t own one (since I sometimes travel for work), so boarding a pet at my own home is something I cannot accommodate at this time. Despite that, I will consider helping as much as I can with necessary care, once we (pet, pet owner, and I) meet for our “meet and greet” prior to service.

Before working with a dog, I need to know: 1) Is the dog allowed to interact with other dogs while walking? 2) Is the dog allowed off the leash at a dog park (to run around in an enclosed space)? 3) Does your pet have any nervous habits? 4) What food do I provide your pet and how often? 5) What treats are allowed and how often? 6) Any favorite toys or games the pet plays? 7) Any other pertinent information the owner has to offer? 8) NOW, LET’s SCHEDULE A MEET AND GREET!!! (I’ll come to your area to meet the pet and owner to see if it’s a good fit!) (Note: I love all dogs and am happy to care for your pet, but it can be a liability if they are not trained yet, so I have to be made aware of all of that before working with them and take the proper precautions. I am not afraid of puppies, I just need to know what to expect. I will remain as professional as possible and would like to work with owners that are as well, but I am also very easy going and friendly as long as we can be professional and kind to each other throughout the process. A typical day
On a typical day, I will do what the owner recommends, and if allowed will bring the dog to a local dog park to let it run around, play fetch, give it plenty of attention/pet the dog, and if the pet is allowed to interact with other friendly dogs at the advice of the owner I would allow them to safely interact/play as is appropriate for the dog and owners’ comfort levels. It will be a fun time for your pet and I will enjoy it too!
