Pet care experience
I am an animal lover, like "picking-up-nasty-camel-poop" kind of animal lover. I have been around animals all my life; dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and yes, even camels (I volunteered at a wildlife sanctuary and took care of multiple exotic critters). And I take responsibility to meet all their care needs, including emotional needs that sometimes require great patience. I currently own two cats who were previously abused at their former home, so I am well aware of what it takes to handle pets with unusual and sometimes very difficult behaviors. I am currently a computer nerd with multiple part-time jobs. My schedule changes from week to week, but I am mostly available on week days. I will always of course update my availability on my schedule as promptly as possible.

Roxanne is always great with my dogs! Every time she comes over, they are drawn to her immediately. She is very attentive and responsive to their body language, and she always listens to our requests and follows through perfectly. I would recommend her to anyone

I love all breeds and ages, however I would like to know if there are any behavioral problems (aggressiveness, not potty-trained, etc.) before I arrive just so I am prepared.
A typical day
When it comes to walks, I am very safety-oriented, thus I am very observant about my surroundings and if there are any potential threats to a pet I am walking (other dogs, traffic, poisonous plants/mushrooms, etc.). I will of course follow any specified routes directed by the owner. I also take great joy in playing with dogs/pets, no matter how much energy an animal has. Fetch, chase, tug-of-war, you name it. And as always, I will keep an eye out for safety hazards. I also do not mind helping out with grooming a pet. I am not a professional groomer by any means, though I am happy to give a pet a gentle brushing if needed.
