Pet care experience
I have experience caring for dogs, cats and chickens. I have worked with many animals and I am comfortable walking, feeding, playing, caring and giving medications to your pet. I have been a volunteer for Long Trail Canine Rescue for 8 years and have fostered over 70 dogs/puppies of various breeds, temperament and stages of training. I also foster for The Feline Connection. I love dogs and cats and consider them part of the family. Pets are welcome in every part of my house and yard including the couch and bed. Currently, I have three dogs: Lola, Gracie and Jax. I also have a very friendly cat, Buster, who loves dogs and other cats. We have walking trails on our property or trail access across the road, which range from 2-6 Miles and allows dogs to go swimming, if they choose. I will update you with photos and videos of your pet while they are with me for piece of mind. I can do early morning or late evening drop off/pick- up boarding times to accommodate travel plans.

AvA couldn't stop barking about ALL THE FUN she had at "Camp Roxane"!!! I knew she was in good hands from the minute we 1st met Roxane.... she knows her stuff & LOVES ANIMALS!!! I did have SOME anxiety, to be so far away (for a whole WEEK) from our li'l fur-ball, but, only a day or so into our vacay, when I rec'd pix & VIDEOS of AvA on hikes, swimming & even a pic of her snuggly-sound-asleep from a full days' play, any trace of that anxiety disappeared!!! We def picked up a very HAPPY GIRL!!!! .......I've already ckd to see if she's free, for the wkend in Oct of my 50th class reunion!!!! MANY THANX to Roxane for being such a great "surrogate parent" to many 4legged fur-babies!!!
Roxane is great with dogs and Max (Shih Tzu) adored her. She followed his special diet and separated him from her cute pups at mealtime. He is a picky dog and is very attached to our family, but he did not want to leave Roxane’s and is still missing her!

A typical day
Lots of walks and the ability to go swimming. We do off leash walks and playing in the yard. If your dog prefers to chill, we have a porch with comfy chairs.
