Pet care experience
I have taken care of animals all my life! I have lots of experience with taking care of dogs who chew things, maybe are destructive or high energy. I have experience with dogs who are not crate trained, potty trained, who needs medication or special diets. I have always struggled leaving my dog and animals when I went out of town because I truly didn’t trust anyone but myself to look after them. I see my animals like my children! They are so special to me, and I never felt like anyone saw them they way I did! I want to be that trusted sitter for someone because I found it so hard to find one myself. Let me give you that peace of mind when you are out of town! Knowing your babies are taken care of at level you would want them to be!

Very reliable and has a great attitude.
Went above and beyond for sure she was well worth every penny!! I felt like my dog was in excellent hands!! She noticed that my dog showed signs of a UTI and even took my dog to the vet for me since I was out of the country. My dog even ate for her which is a bit of miracle work in and of itself!! If you want someone to not just watch your dog but truly love them and take care of them then Rowan is the only call you should make!!! Somehow my house got cleaner while I was gone too and all that dog hair was mysteriously in the garbage. She’s simply awesome!!
Rowan was great with my two cats! She cleaned their litter box, filled their water, and gave them a little attention while I was away. I think my shy kitty even started to warm up to her, seeing as he didn't flee the room on the final check-in. She even watered a few of my plants. I would certainly book Rowan again!

I live in an apartment, but there are lots of trails and a dog park to let dogs run. Dogs need exercise and a tired dog is a good dog :) I walk each dog individually so they are controlled and in safe hands. Dogs will be fed separately, and will be separated when I am not present at the home. No dog will be left in an unsafe situation and their care and safety will always come first!

I am able to accommodate most special request and pets who have specific needs! I can give shots and medication when needed and also have experience with special dietary needs! Just let me know ahead of time what I need to prepare for and we can make it happen!
A typical day
I understand the importance of having a dog being well exercised! I love to run with dogs, so if your dog is up for that I would love to do that! I also have a large fenced in area for dogs in my apartment, which is great for playing fetch and stretching some legs! I also love to do mental stimulation with their food and training sessions! A typical day would include 3 walks or activities throughout the day, maybe a training session and lots of cuddles in the evening!

Availability
I work full time but am able to be flexible when looking after any animal. They will have many potty breaks and time to get their energy out!
