Pet care experience
I am a caring and trustworthy pet lover who has taken care of a variety of pets including cats, dogs, house bunnies, chickens, and fish of various ages and abilities since I was 10 years old. I am a college student, have my own transportation, and am usually available short notice. I am currently enrolled as a part time student in college - so I will have plenty of time to come and play with your pets. I am currently available every day of the week and I accept last minute requests to take care of your pet! Pets have been part of my life since I was a child. I am a caring pet owner - my friends may even say I am a bit obsessed with my pets because I spoil them rotten! I do believe in proper training and understand that pet owners may have specific requests or requirements. During my first booking, I will go over these with you and make sure we are on the same page so you feel comfortable with my care and your pet has continuity of care.

Roux is a literal god send! He picked our puppy up and made him feel safe after a very long drive. When we came home from our trip Sherlock was happy, clean, fed, and obviously loved by Roux! In fact it took him a bit to leave him and come back to us. Roux was very knowledgeable about pets (we aren’t) which helped so much! We also got video and photo updates which we loved. We would definitely use Roux again!
Roux was a lifesaver when I had a family emergency and called him to take care of my two cats. My older cat is on a special diet and requires a separate feeding. Roux took excellent care of both my kitties and even texted me photos. When I got back from my trip, I was surprised that not only were my loves completely well, but Roux even tidied up the house! Super happy and impressed! Thank you!
I needed a last minute sitter for my house bunny and my backyard chickens. Turns out Roux lived on a farm and is some kind of animal whisperer!!! He even taught me some tricks! I already booked him again for another time I will be out of town. Absolutely recommend!!!
Roux has taken care of my dog Koda dozens of times while I was away on business trips. He comes every day at 10am and 7pm, spends time throwing the tennis ball and keeps the food and water bowls filled. I would definitely recommend Roux to care for your pets.

A typical day
I love taking my dog, Maddie on a walk around the neighborhood. She is an old dog so she often gives up half way through the walk and I have to carry her back home. I have taken other owners pets on walks around their neighborhood and with their permission I even take them to dog parks or on a hiking trail to make sure they burn that energy off!
