Howdy! I'm a former Texan turned Bostonian. I have had dogs my entire life, both big and small. I've had a rottweiler, a scottish terrier, a blue heeler, an australian shepherd, and more. In the last three years, I've been a foster parent for multiple rescue organizations in the northeast, fostering everything from jack russell terriers, to pit bulls, frenchies, and even a couple of boston terriers :) Dogs have a natural comfort around me, and that's come in handy working with rescues that often come to me skittish and nervous. I understand how to make a pup feel comfortable and bring them out of their shell, while being careful to not move too fast. I'm also happy to follow all rules and habits you currently maintain: whether that involves furniture privileges, commands you're teaching, or anything in between. In other words, your pup is in good (and experienced!) hands, and I'll love your pup just like they're my own!
