I’m Ross and I love dogs! I’ve had them my entire life which has made me appreciate the companionship a four-legged pal provides. I love the goofiness, playfulness, and love that dogs unconditionally give. They are always the best for when you’re feeling blue and my pup always knows how to put a smile on my face. Rover provides me the opportunity to spend more time with my own pup, in addition to new canine cuties! One of my first and most cherished memories of dogs was my childhood pup named Sammy. She was so much fun and very energetic. We would explore my backyard together and even come to school during show and tell. It was through her that I learned dogs need just as much affection as humans do. Currently, I’m the proud papa to one year old Lab named Jack. He absolutely adores playing with others so your dog will be a welcome addition to my home. We are enthusiastic about going to any dog park while fitting in time for hiking, swimming, or walking. Dog owners will love that I have experience dealing with pups of every size, personality, and breed! I have experience working at local shelters and humane societies so I’m able to pick up on a dog’s body language in regards to the feelings and emotions that the dog is experiencing. I’m also very active so I go on hiking trails at least twice a week and take my pup swimming at the river. We're constantly going to dog parks and spending as much time outside as possible if the weather permits. When your pup is with me, I’ll make sure they are treated just like a member of the family. After all, that’s the kind of love that you show your pup! My number one goal is to make them feel happy, healthy and safe, and one of the best ways to do that is by emulating the environment that they’re used to at home. That means learning their schedules, regimens, and habits inside and out. Dogs are creatures of habit, so getting to know what makes them tick is the surest way to make them feel comfortable. But as much as I love learning new information, I also love making sure owners are up-to-date on their pooch. I like sending regular updates with accompanying pictures so you can see just how much fun your pup and I are having together! And, of course, I keep all of my lines of communication open, so I’m always around if any questions or concerns should ever arise. I live in a wonderful apartment in the Buckhead area. It’s cozy, fun, and completely dog proof! There’s nothing for dog visitors to get into nor anything potentially dangerous. I have a bunch of toys for them to chew on and plenty of treats to share.
