All dogs welcome!

Pet care experience

Hi, I am a dog lover through and through. I am comfortable with all dogs, of all sizes and all temperaments. Both of my dogs are wolf-hybrids, low content and mid content, and they both have unique personalities but are super sweet, playful animals. I work from home, and have a fully fenced in back yard. I will admit, I do not have any official training, but please let my own dogs be a reference. Please also note that well before I ever signed up to be a sitter on Rover, I was a customer who used Rover, and understand how nice it is to receive updates with pictures of one's pup, to reassure you that they are in fact, having their own mini-vacation, while you are gone. I have a ~7 year old Siberian Husky Wolf-hybrid (low content), female (Lexi) and a ~2 year old German Shepherd, Malamute, Husky Wolf-hybrid (mid content), male (Fang). Both of which are high energy dogs, who require lots of patience, and strong leadership (not to be confused with aggression, roughness, or violence). Both of my dogs are incredibly sweet, playful, and friendly. A few examples of rules which all dogs must follow in my house: - All dogs must sit and wait, before going outside. It is not a problem for me is this is a new routine for your dogs, I will be as patient with them as I am with my dogs. - All dogs must sit and wait before meal time, no dogs are ever allowed to eat out of another dogs' bowl (I do not tolert licking another dogs' bowl clean, after it has been emptied either). Attempting to will result in being put back into a sit wait, prior to resuming their meal. Both of my dogs are up to date on all of their vaccines, flea & tick meds, etc... On weekends we may enjoy going for hikes, or going to other parks and both of my dogs are good off leash. I will also note again, that I do not have any formal training, but if there is anything in particular you'd like me to pay close attention to, or anything special which your dog needs (or anything to help ease your concerns while you're away), please let me know. In most cases, I am happy to help. As an example, say your dog needs a shot while you are away, I have not personally done this, but if you walk me through what needs to be done, I am happy to help. My fur-babies mean the world to me, and I will treat yours no differently.

Ross was super friendly and accommodating even though I had to change my timing a bit. His dogs were really nice and my pup Teddy had a fun time there. We just dropped her off for a day (no overnight) and it seems that they just played most of the time outside! Teddy seemed super happy when she got picked up! Great experience.

Ross was great with our rather rambunctious group of pups. His dogs are very well behaved and inviting and he was a delight to work with. We're definitely coming back!

Our puppy enjoyed his stay with Ross and his dogs. He was well cared for and happy when we picked him up. Ross is friendly and has a great essence about him that our puppy could feel too. The property was perfect to keep him safe. We highly recommend Ross for anyone needing care for their dog. When we are back in the area we will definitely bring Benny back. Thank you for keeping our baby safe and happy!

Information Ross G. would like to know about your pet

Tell me about your pup, it's okay to brag a bit, go ahead highlight how they are going to make my day while you're gone, I'll try to capture some of these moments for you, to keep your nerves at wrest while you are away. Do they need any medicine while you are away? Do they have a special diet? Do they have a favorite treat, toy or spot that they love bet pet? Are they crate trained? What do you do when you leave them at home? I will do my best to replicate this, baring they are not going to be destructive. Personally, I prefer big dogs, but at the end of the day, as long you think your dog will be comfortable with my big dogs, I will do my best to make sure your pup feels at home. Otherwise, let's set up a meet and greet to make sure your pup will be comfortable at my house with my pups.

A typical day

Hike out the back gate, through private land. Endless, running, playing in the yard, naps on the couch, fresh water, and repeat. With lots of love and affection throughout the day.
