Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Ross. I have over 20 years of pet care experience. Across my family, I have taken care of both cats and dogs from a young age. My family dog is Ozzy, a Maltese-Poodle mix, and I’ve learned how to properly take care of him while my parents are away short and extended periods of time for the past 15 years. My family also used to have cats and I also became responsible to take care of them at a young age as well. I currently have 2 cats which are a domestic shortbreed. One named Meow and the other named Clark. I love playing and getting to know both cats and dogs. I enjoy taking my family dog for a walk when he needs one. I have reliable transportation to get me to and from your home. Hope to work with you soon!
Reviews
I cannot think of a person who embodies the attributes of compassion, concern for others, and responsibility than my very close friend Ross. I have known Ross for four and a half years after meeting him as a coworker, and I know that his many and varied talents would make him a perfect fit for a job caring for the very important members of people's families, their pets. The job where I met Ross was when we were both working for the Ambler branch of the Greater Philadelphia YMCA as camp counselors at the summer program. He was an exemplary role model to all of the children in his care, frequently going above and beyond to teach and care for the children. This job led to Ross later landing a position as a one-on-one paraprofessional at Pine Road Elementary School. He spent his days there working with a differently-abled kindergarten student and helping him to gain access to education and social skills in a way that was specialized for this individual student. These jobs go to show that Mr. Ross has the attributes of compassion, understanding and patience necessary to care for pets. He also understands that just like children, all animals are different as well, and he would be able to be adaptable in the care of individual pets. In the past few years Mr. Ross has expanded his skill set further by working in more customer service related jobs. He has worked as a customer service and trouble shooting person for a company that designs computer program for senior citizens, and he has worked various positions at Olive Garden and now Miller's Ale House. This just proves that Mr. Ross has both sides of the equation, in that he has the hear to care for all living things and have compassion, but he also has customer service and business smarts as well. Any company would do well to hire him, and any family that had the pleasure of having him care for their pet would surely ask him to come back every time his services are required.
