Student who loves dogs and long walks!
Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and when not here in York for university, I have a whippet/italian greyhound (9yr) and 2 border/patterdale terriers (4 and 5yr). I have pet sat and walked for friends and family members, as well as taking care of my own. Whilst at university, I greatly miss my dogs so am eager to hopefully be able to meet yours soon!
Reviews
Rosie is an incredibly responsible young lady, who always make sure she sticks to her values. she is not only wonderful with animals due to her kind and caring nature, but a very punctual person, always making sure she is on time to whichever commitment she has applied herself to. Rosie is a lovely person which is reflected in her affections towards animals, shown time and time again when she has looked after both my dogs and my cats, during brief holidays away.
Rosie is completely dependable. She has a real love of dogs and always acts responsibly and with care when she takes ours out for a walk. I recommend her without reservation.

Safety, trust & environment
I used to be a domiciliary home carer so I have experience working in homes unfamiliar to me, making sure I take care of the environment I am entrusted with, and taking care of who is under my responsibility. I am comfortable in any circumstance and am very reliable.
Information Rosie S. would like to know about your pet
It’s really important for me to know your dogs temperament ahead of time, and any particular dos and donts! For instance, one of the dogs I grew up with doesn’t like face to face contact too much, so I would advise visitors of this to make sure both pup and people are happy!
A typical day
Dogs are happiest (and sleepiest!) after physical and mental stimulation. So a typical day will include walks for lots of exploring and smells, and then at home I love to experiment with different types of kongs/games!

Availability
I’m a 3rd year student and only have 6 contact hours a week - so my schedule is pretty flexible! I’m able to complete my work when and wherever I wish, so pet care is perfect for my day to day routine. I also have a car, and live quite central to York, so am easily accessible.
