Hi I’m Rosie a 20 year old student. I have my own dog who I’ve cared for since he was 4 weeks (he is now 5 years old) Since I moved to London in August he has lived with my mum as my landlord is strict on pets - he does come to stay every now and then. As my dog has hip dysplasia and arthritis I am experienced on how to handle dogs with this condition, I understand their limits. I am very patient and calm and believe that praise and positivity is the best way to be with dogs. I am confident in walking dogs and I can read their body language well (of the dog I am walking as well as other dogs around them). From the experience with my own dog, who has a sensitive stomach and has been ill a few times over the years, I can tell when a dog is not right very quickly and have basic knowledge of the first steps on how to help them. I have always loved animals, especially dogs, I have grown up with a nan who has her own dog charity and is constantly going up and down the country to save shelter dogs from being put down - I believe that my passion for animals comes from her, I love to be around them.
