Update: I have a one year old daughter who will have to be present during sittings so please only send requests if your furry friend is able to be around children! Also, if you are requesting a house sitting service please be aware that my boyfriend may have to be present during the stay as well. He has been present for many of my previous sittings, both would be present during the meet and greet :) What sets me apart from others? I am a dance/movement therapist in my professional life. I take care of mental health populations during the day and if chosen by you, take care of your furry best friend in the evening (get it?). I have never had a pet of my own due to the “get up and move” nature of my childhood , a dog was always at the top of my list. Today, I’d toss a hairless cat, some sharks and a parrot into the mix... but that’s another story for another time. I love traveling (and would make it a part time career if I could). Traveling solo for 365 days actually brought alive my passion for animals when I lived in India, Costa Rica and Nicaragua. My favorite part of the day would be waking up, walking outdoors and being greeted by stray pups and (even a cow) that I grew fond of. Even at my bartending job, we had Canella our tavern pup who loved bbq wing bones and a good behind the ear scratch. My longest running pet care experience has been taking care of an elderly cat (excuse me, diva), with special needs (this will be my third year). I’ve had experience facilitating strict schedules, meal plans, medication needs and observation assessments (if your best friend requires extra attention). I am also able to take care of plants and provide other general house care needs including cooking and light cleaning (for extended stays). I look forward to meet you and your furry friend soon!
