I have always loved caring for animals and had many pets over the last 50+ years since I was a child. These have included our Golden Retriever who lived for nearly 17years, dying in 2017. We've had numerous house bunnies and Aylesbury and Runner ducks. I also regularly have a friend's labrador to stay whose owners are away a lot. I enjoy walking and being outside so I make sure any dog in my care has a nice walk. I understand that a young, senior or disabled dog may need a shorter walk or a walk adapted to suit them. I am a Hospice nurse, working for a local charity and have a quiet and calm nature. I consider myself to be thoughtful and considerate to those left in my charge and it is important to me that animals, just like humans, are kept safe and well cared for. I live in a large house with a good sized fenced garden with safe walks both close by and in a short car ride away. I work 3 days a week and know my schedule approx 6 weeks ahead. I can offer walks or over night care to fit around my schedule. I have a large, safe, fenced garden. Usually dogs are confined to the large kitchen at night and if well behaved are allowed to be with me and my family in other parts of the house during the day.
