Pet care experience
Love is all it takes to connect with an animal. I've cared for dogs most of my life, personally, most of whom were rescue animals. I've also walked, fed, and taken in dogs of friends and neighbors. I am currently fostering a dog that was on the euthanasia list. A sad reality these days. There is no better, or more loyal friend, especially for seniors, than a canine or feline companion. All they require is love and kindness.

Availability
I am retired, and a homebody by nature. I love my former companion, which I've recently adopted. Just like people, pets have their individual personalities, and I love getting to know them. I had my foster dog, Bandit, for just a few days before she began curling up with me, and following me around the house. Animals have a sixth sense regarding who they can trust and who they cannot.
