I've grown up with dogs my whole life so I have a wealth of experience beyond the professional. In Los Angeles I worked for almost 6 years at a holistically motivated doggie daycare and boarding facility so I have had the opportunity to work with all sorts of personalities, temperaments, energy levels, breeds, ages, sizes and even special needs dogs. At home I care for my own rescue dogs, a two year-old Siberian Husky/Bull Terrier/Chinese Shar-Pei mix named Kalima, a ‘human in dog skin’ chihuahua-miniature pinscher named Zuul and a one-eyed and opinionated rescue cat named Stint. I get genuinely excited about the breakthroughs I make when meeting new dog and gaining their trust or helping nervous dogs overcome fears. I love finding ways to make them happy— the moment I can really get through to them and make their existence better even in some small way.
