Room to play & I’m home all day!
Pet care experience
I’ve fostered abandoned pets since I was 13. I have spent most of my adult life learning how to train dogs (and even trained my cat to do a few tricks!) I have spent the last few years studying canine and feline nutrition and have done a training course on how to assist a dog or cat in an emergency situation as well.

So happy we found Rose on the Rover app! This was our second time leaving our dog with her when we went out of town, this time for 9 days. It’s a wonderful feeling to know she’s in good hands and happy while we’re away. Rose sent me an update and a picture everyday. We loved seeing that Wednesday was having fun playing with Rose’s cat and dog. Will definitely book with Rose again!
Rose was a great dog-sitter for our dog, Wednesday! We loved getting a daily update with pictures of our girl. Wednesday and Rose’s dog Daisy had fun playing together, too! Already booked another stay for Wednesday with Rose for our next trip!
THE BEST DOG SITTER EVER!! Rose watched our pup Nathan over the weekend and I will be exclusively user her in the future for any and all pet sitting. The room she has for her Rover guests is clean and very comfortable for dogs. Her two dogs Daisy and Whiskey are really nice and sweet pups and got along great with ours! Rose provided plenty of enrichment and playtime for Nathan and we did not worry at all while he was under her care. Everyday she made sure to update us and send photos which was super nice. Nathan even came down with tummy issues the day before our trip and Rose still accepted our sitting appointment and even got him better again! She has an amazing knowledge of pet nutrition and (after asking permission of course) fed him a diet to help his tummy! While doing this, she even recommended food that would be better suited for his size and type of dog. I’m so happy we found Rose and look forward to many more sitting appointments with her!

I host for one client at a time so that I can be sure all the animals, mine and yours, are comfortable being in the same home together. This also allows more time for me to spend with your furbaby one on one! All furry friends must be on a flea/tick preventative and fully vaccinated for the safety of my pets and yours. I have a decently spread out home. There is a separate room next to my office just for pets that are more comfortable away from other animals. I can and will accommodate a pet that prefers to be separate however, I am not able to accept aggressive pets. I have a large yard for potty breaks and play. It is not fenced in but I do have a tie down cable that allows much more roaming than a typical leash. Your pet will never be outside with out me there. I have one dog that is trained to stay in the yard without a leash and one that will bolt if given the chance, so I am experienced and prepped for both scenarios. I have 2 neutered male cats. Who are just as spoiled as the dogs. My cats are cautious and generally keep their distance from new pets, but they are friendly so as long as your dog isn’t reactive to them in an aggressive way there shouldn’t be any issues. My fiancé lives in the home as well and loves pets just as much as I do. He is very supportive of me hosting pets in our home (maybe he just thinks it will keep me from getting more animals!) I also have a door to my office that leads to our porch which is completely enclosed. The dogs like to lay out there and sunbathe on a nice day! I offer enrichment toys daily to my pets and if allowed will do the same for yours. It’d be my absolute pleasure to care for your furbaby just as you would!

Information Rose L. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any special needs ahead of time. I am able and willing to administer medications if needed. I would like to know anything that is important to you. Things that your dog loves/hates. How they feel about other dogs/cats so I know if they need to be separated or not. What their at home schedule is like and any dietary guidelines as well.
A typical day
An animal’s mental and physical activity is very important to me. I offer food & potty breaks on a schedule. Outside of that I can offer enrichment treats, basic training practice (like sit, stay, paw), toys(playing tug or fetch), and “sniffaris”(I take them each around on a leash in the yard or home, and sometimes I will hide small treats for them to find). No additional cost, as I do it with my own pets daily anyways. I just ask that you please provide any specific treats or toys you want them to have.

I WFH full time. I sought this out after being home all the time with my pets during the pandemic. I loved that my day was spent with their companionship and not in an office somewhere else. My pets and I have a routine schedule for potty breaks, meals, play, training, and rest. I work Mon-Fri and sometimes overtime on weekends. Fridays I am off early so we spend weekends having adventures if the weather allows. We love finding a good walking trail!
