Rose seemed great when we met, but my dogs seemed to have other opinions after the stay. Both of them were quite upset afterward. One was anxious, afraid of going outside at night, was spooked by noise. The other was also anxious, afraid of her harness and leash. I don’t know what happened to get both of them so spooked, but this has never happened from a dog sitter before.
Rose took care of my very shy Great Dane and did an absolutely wonderful job with her. I can't speak highly enough of Rose. She was incredibly responsive leading up to her stay, was great with my dog during her stay, and kept me constantly updated with texts and photos. I wouldn't hesitate to call on her again and encourage anyone looking for a dogsitter to use her. She is great.
Thank you so much Rose for watching our doggy kota while we were away on vacation on the opposite coast! Rose always sent updates and photos on how kota was doing, and she even helped water my plants! Definitely recommend her to anyone and everyone! Thanks so much, Rose!! <3
Dogs are truly my favorite thing!
I just recently moved to Seattle from San Diego. I have always had a dog growing up. I had a blind and deaf Maltese, a mutt with back problems, more recently a stubborn Belgian Shepherd who went through lots of training, and an adopted a terrier/Maltese mix! I have lots of knowledge when it comes to behavior and how to work with dogs and feel that I have a way with connecting with them ...
What Rose would like to know about your dog
Before sitting a dog, I would want to know about any behavioral issues or quirks. Also I would want to know how the dog indicates that it wants to go outside, if possible. I'd like to know if they have any health problems, injuries, or allergies. If they have a favorite toy or treat or activity that would be good to know too! I have no breed preferences although I love mutts.
