Pet care experience
Hello! I have lifelong experience caring for and raising animals, including horses, dogs, rabbits, cats, guinea pigs, fish, a sheep, and hamsters. I have raised horses, dogs, and cats from young. I enjoy training animals and love going for walks every day. I have a car so sometimes drive at weekends to find great places to walk round. I work from home all day so can be available for your furry family member as much as they need. I am flexible, if they want lots of walks and cuddles or more space and me time then that is exactly what they will get. It's all about keeping your pet happy!

Rose has been petsitting for me (and my cockapoo Bernie) since 2018 and I cannot recommend her enough. She is incredibly reliable, always thinks about Bernie's needs first, and makes Bernie feel so loved and cared for. Their days together are always the perfect mixture of stimulating play, nourishing walks and cuddles. I feel so at ease knowing how happy and safe Bernie is with Rose.
Rose is a wonderful pet caregiver and I highly recommend her! She’s reliable, considerate, professional and loves animals. My dogs love her and have a fantastic time with her!

I have a 7 year old cat, she is friendly. She has met plenty of dogs in the past, and likes to stay out of their way. She has made friends with one often visiting dog in the past. I have a large basement flat, with direct access to a private patio, small carpark, and shared garden. Unfortunately access to the flat is via steps so not appropriate for any dogs with mobility issues, unless they can be carried. I can conduct pet visits and spend up to an hour there gladly making a fuss over them, doing everything asked, and ensuring they have everything they need, including walks. I will send you photos of your furry family member to keep you in the loop and help you feel at ease when you're away!

Please share with me any needs or routines that your dog has. I can accommodate to most as long as I know in advance. This might include information about how they respond to other dogs, children, if they recall when unleashed, what games they like to play, any dietary requirement so I can provide the best treats, any parks they love or dislike. I particularly need to know if your dog is calm around cats.
A typical day
Your dog will be stimulated physically and mentally, along with getting all the cuddles and attention they would like. We go on at least one big walk a day, to visit a park or the beach, and as many smaller walks as your dog needs. If your dog doesn't want to walk and prefers downtime then I can accommodate for this as well. I am in tune with their needs. Your dog will be played with and entertained whilst at home and on walks! On a weekend if your dog wants to, we like to walk further, this might be from home into the downs, or we might drive somewhere into Sussex and explore new places with lots of lovely new smells and space to run round.

Availability
I work from home 4 days a week (M, T, Th, F) and am available for boarding, walks, visits, these days. I work freelance and am in charge of my own hours and breaks, so can respond to any needs immediately. I have a very early start and long day Wednesdays so can't board overnight Tuesday or Wednesday. Our weekends are filled with walks and when we aren't walking, we tend to be homebodies, perfect for dogs to get their rest after a long walk, or to keep your pet company if they don't want to go out.
