Pet care experience
I'm a responsible pet owner/caretaker. I have volunteered with the SPCA and helped adopt 4 dogs to friends and family. My former pooch lived to the ripe old doggie age of 16 and I learned a lot about geriatric pet care with him. My current baby is 6 years old and the love of my life. I've always been an animal lover and will provide the best care possible for your baby while you're away!

Hi, I have had the pleasure of knowing Rose for over 25 years. Let me start be saying that Rose was instrumental in placing ASPCA shelter dogs with at least three people I know. And she was spot on with her choices! Tommie, a darling Poodle mix, was placed by Rose to a recent widow, and they remained so close they had "glamour photos" taken together! Another was a Mini Schnauzer, Buddy, about eight years old at placement, who Rose chose for her mother, another recent widow, and Buddy was her best pal until his death in 2015. She placed another two Shelter dogs, small Terriers, with her mother soon after that. Frankie and Humphrey are inseparable, silly, and greatly loved by the family. She found the perfect small Chihuahua Terrier mix for a friend in Santa Cruz, CA who remain devoted to each other. Excellent track record for small dog placement! Rose also volunteered at the Santa Cruz (Small Dog) Animal Shelter on Chanticleer Ave, Santa Cruz, for a few years when she lived down the block from the Shelter. She has always loved all animals. Her own pets include a beloved dog, Loki, who she raised from a puppy to age twelve. Same with her cats. And she even raised finches in a window cage built by her brother! We all joke that "it's good to be Rose's pet" because she makes adorable pet beds, buys good quality pet food, and is very loving and kind to them, and it shows in their behavior. Let me close by saying Rose would be my first choice for a pet-sitter. She's proven herself to be trustworthy, efficient, punctual, and all pets adore her on the spot. Please don't hesitate to let Rose be a perfect employee for your company! I am available for contact if you wish.
Id like to say that I love my dog Kiki more than words can say. She's my cat Mary's constant companion. Like my friends, my pets are incredibly important to me, but caring for them isn't always easy. My friend Rose has had a dog for almost the entire 25 years we've been friends. Her care and commitment to her pets is an inspiration to me. I was never a dog person before I knew Rose, and now I can't imagine my life without them. For that I'm very grateful.❤️
Were I a dog, I would know no greater pleasure than getting to spend time with my pal Rose. I would, of course, prefer to spend countless hours prancing, dancing, chasing, chucking, chuckleing, showing her my tricks, traits, and troublemaking; maybe even settle down enough to take in a long, luxurious, slumber....But, I am a dog, so I don't have a thumb. Consequently, I don't always get what I want and would settle for a short walk or trip somewhere just to get a sniff of my pal Rose. Heck, I would even let her take me to the vet so my others didn't have to see me shiver. They always tell me what a good guard dog I am. I don't want to let them down. Rose gets it.
I have known Rose for many years, and spent a lot of time around her and her dogs. She has always been very loving, patient, attentive, and responsible toward them. She is held in high regard by many people, as evidenced by the fact that, when they are away, they turn to Rose to look after their pets and their homes. She's conscientious, capable, and sensible, and will definitely keep your pets safe and happy.
