I am a mother of puppies and all dogs here in DOGTOWN. I have my own black Labrador named Doc. He and I train with other dogs in my care. I have gone through it all with dogs, from Mating to Birth to puppies first heat, vet vists, palliative care to crossing the rainbow bridge. I will love your dog as one of the pack when they stay with Doc and I. I have nooks and caves set up in my apartment for those who like to be shy and isolate. Or a giant bean bag to share with Human friends. I live by the beach and the Venice Dog Park, so playtime and socializing are definitely available. I craft homemade dog food to offset canned and dry. I am cautious and considerate of not just diet and exercise, but bonding and stimulation. I have a basket of toys I keep in the car for outdoor play such as frisbees, soccer balls, and chuck it. I also have squeakers if your dog wants extra stimulation. I work on making good habits and losing the bad ones.
