Friendly, animal-loving dog walker
Pet care experience
I love all dogs, big and small, as well as pretty much all other animals! I have always had dogs in my life, and now help my sister with her cocker spaniel Stanley as much as possible. I met him when he was just 8 weeks old and I have dogsitted for him and walked him many times since, helping with whatever training he is currently working on. From all the playtimes we have had, I like to think he now knows me as the fun aunt :D Although I sadly don't have a pet of my own, I have lived with friends' dogs for extended periods of time, including an epileptic border collie who needed special care. I have also helped look after my family and friends' pets, and will always enthusiastically send updates and photos to their owners to give them peace of mind while they are away.

Safety, trust & environment
Whichever service you have requested, I will always make the safety and happiness of your pet my top priority. I will be happy to help with enforcing training, and I greatly enjoying playing with pets and providing enriching activities for them. I'm really looking forward to meeting your furry friends!
Information Rosalind G. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pet has any dietary or health needs, or struggles in certain situations, e.g. when interacting with other dogs, or if they have any particular phobias or triggers. Also let me know what training (if any) your dog is currently working on, particularly if recall is still a work in progress.
A typical day
I know many local parks and woodlands areas perfect for long or short walks, and can even drive your dog out to the Peak District for a longer adventure. As well as giving them space to run, I know the importance of allowing dogs to sniff around to stimulate them mentally as well as physically. While petsitting I can prepare snuffle activities and play and cuddle as much as your dog wants! I have a lot of love and belly rubs ready to share with your furry friends, and I'm sure I'll enjoy our time together as much as they do!

Availability
I currently have a number of regular clients during the week, however I have availability in the afternoons for walks or drop-ins. My weekends are generally left free for sitting requests. I am flexible and can often accept requests at short notice. I also have a clean full driving licence and my own car, so it is easy for me to get to you and to explore new parks and woodlands with your doggies. **Please note, regarding sitting requests** My standard rate includes up to 1.5 hours of walking per day. For more energetic dogs, this would be increased by £8 per day for each additional 30 minutes walking required. During the week, I will need to come and go to attend to my regular clients and this is reflected in my standard rate. If your pet requires constant care I can generally only offer this service at weekends or on days when I have no other bookings. This service will be charged at £100 per day due to the level of care provided. Please feel free to enquire and we can discuss the level of care your pet will need.
