Fun Loving Dogs Welcome
Pet care experience
We (Monica and Rose) have had dogs our whole lives. We grew up primarily with Rottweilers, Chow chows, and Pitbulls. Monica is great with training dogs. Rose is the pushover who will give your furbaby treats just because. Monica will ensure your furbaby earns their treats. We make a great team! We also have a loving Australian Kelpie mix, 7-year-old dog named Nicki. She is very friendly and loves to play. Our priority will be making your loved ones feel safe and loved throughout their stay. To ensure everyone has enough one on-one-attention and is well taken care of we typically limit ourselves to one additional doggy pal. If you have more than one dog in your family, please message us. We can work something out. Please note we only board dogs who are up to date on their vaccines, over 30 pounds, and fully house trained. This is for their safety and the sanity of our household. ***We mention dogs are not allowed on the furniture however, we have 4+ large comfortable dog beds for your loved ones to sleep on. On the weekend Monica and I will be home full time. Though it is extremely rare, we may run to the store causing us to be out of the house for two hours or less and dogs will be separated. Furthermore, we will be stalking them on our doggy cams and dispensing treats. Your companion will get lots of exercise when they stay with us. Every day your furbaby will join our family walks/hikes (1/2-6 miles). We live near Hogum Bay off-leash dog park and Tolmie State Park. There are also plenty of hiking trails around our neighborhood providing many new smells for those wet noses! We have a fenced yard and Nicki to keep your furbaby company. You'll never have to worry about your pet overheating in our cool home. We also have puppy ice cream treats and minty cucumber spa water. If you are new to rover and have never used the app before, please let us know. We offer a discount.
Reviews
They’re ALWAYS our go-to dog sitters. They are seriously the best, and our dog Moby loves them and their dog, Nicki.
Oliver loves staying with Rosalie and Monica!! They are gracious hosts and we feel good that he is in such a caring and fun environment!
Thank you so much for always taking very good care of Moby!!! ❤️
Rosalie and Monica took great care of Theo! He went on so many fun adventures with them and even went camping for a night at the beach during the heatwave. I appreciate the communication and pictures they sent while we were away.

We are both fully vaccinated (with boosters) for COVID-19. We have a fenced yard, toys, and an energetic companion to keep your dog company. We will follow any guidance you give us. We know sometimes dogs may need breaks from one another and we're able to provide quiet spaces for them throughout our four-bedroom house. Additionally, we have a bidet in all three of our washrooms which may act as an emergency eyewash station for your pup 😉

Information Rosalie & Monica N. would like to know about your pet
How does your furbaby get along with others? What is their normal schedule? (Feeding time and walk times) Are they up to date on vaccinations and have a scheduled flea/tick treatment? Any medications, allergies, or quirks your dog has. Anything you want us to know about your furbaby.
A typical day
We have all sorts of fun activities planned for your dog. Some of the activities are walks, runs, playtime with various toys (tennis ball, tug-a-war, dog-friendly stuffed animals). There are quite a few great trails around us. Four Cedar trail at Tolmie State Park, Water Shed Park trail, Squaxin trails, Chehalis trail are just some we frequent. We have different mind-stimulating puzzle games. One is a windmill that we put treats in. Another puzzle game is tugging, trapdoor style tiered treats tower. The bottom of the tower has cups where they have to push it over to get the treat, the next three layers the dog had to pull a string for the treats to fall out to the bottom. Another game we like to play is to guess which cup has the treat. We love making homemade treats. Two of our favorite treats to make for Nicki are froyo and peanut butter balls. With your permission, we would love to give your furbaby some when they come to stay with us. The ingredients are frozen plain yogurt, peanut butter/pumpkin/mango, ice, and water. Peanut butter balls are made with oatmeal, water, and peanut butter.

Availability
We are only available to care for your companions on days we are both home. This generally means weekends and occasionally extended weekends. On Saturdays, we typically go on excursions for hiking or trek to Hogum Dog Park for playtime with other canines. Sundays are a more relaxed day and we take a long walk/hike near our home. We can easily adapt to your furbaby's feeding and play schedule. Potty breaks will be given every two hours or as needed until bedtime or sooner.
