I’ve grown up around animals as long as I can remember—from dogs and cats to every farm animal you can think of. I am very comfortable with all animals and, in my adult life, have experience owning my own dogs and cats. I’ve been a dog trainer for the past 5 years as well, working privately through word-of-mouth referrals. I feel especially close to dogs and love meeting new ones! I’ve done some dog walking and pet sitting for friends and family since I was a teen as well. I work in the (human) medical field and I am comfortable, although not certified, in animal first-aid. I also carry extra leashes and slip leads for dog walking to ensure the safety of your furry friend. I look forward to meeting and taking care of your pet :)

Rosalie was so great with Coco! She is our dog trainer and comes regularly to train Coco. She even helped me with my daily dog training “assignment” after walking Coco!
Rosalie has been great with Phil! He can be nervous around new people but she has been patient and flexible.
Rosalie is really sweet with Lily. Lily can be a handful (she's reactive to other dogs) and she's really taken to Rosalie!

I do not accept dogs into my home, as one of my pups is dealing with some anxiety/fear aggression around other dogs. In your home, I will treat your pets as if they are my own, ensuring I do my best to earn their trust and keep them comfortable. I am comfortable walking all kinds of dogs, dealing with leash reactivity, and caring for other types of animals as well!

I can deal with a multitude of different behaviors from just high energy, to anxiety, to poor leash walking skills, reactivity, and more. I just ask that you let me know in advance if your pet has any specific issues so I am prepared.
A typical day
I like to play physical games like fetch and chase as well as mental games—finding treats, foraging, sniffing, and training games with dogs! I love to walk in new places and check out the reservations near me.

Availability
I currently work a mid shift, so I am available early mornings before 9 am and after 7pm as well as weekends anytime. I ask that you contact me at least 5 days in advance so I am able to accommodate to the best of my ability.
