Pet care experience
Hi! I'm a University of Waterloo graduate student with many years of experience in animal care (I've been on Rover since 2020, and worked with animals for years prior to that!). I have previously owned dogs and am comfortable handling a variety of breeds (I don't discriminate!), ages, personality types, and behavioural issues. I also love cats and have experience caring for them :) I treat every animal as though they were my own; you can rest assured that your pet will be in capable hands and will enjoy time spent with someone who understands how important they are to you.

Rosalie is amazingly well in communicating with us, following every instruction, and being flexible and on time. Our dog, Suki, also really loves her and we feel very good leaving Suki with her in every occasion. We will definitely ask for Rosalie's help anytime we need a sitter.
Rosalie was excellent. She provided frequent updates and pictures. We felt at ease with her watching our four year old Lab at our home for a week as soon as she started to look after him! He had a few minor health concerns and she dealt with them right away and with care. She kept our home clean and tidy too!! We will have her back again! Thanks Rosalie.
Rosalie was amazing with our little Morkie splash. She made sure to keep us updated on how he was doing while we were gone and sent us pictures all along the way. We will definitely be using her again
We loved having Rosalie stay with our extra large dog and our two cats and they loved her too! Rosalie was very understanding of my anxiety with leaving my pets in the care of someone else and took the time to make sure I felt that everything was in good hands. She sent lots of photo updates and stayed in the perfect amount of communication. We're so glad we found her!

I maintain a clean, safe environment and make sure there is nothing out that pets can get into. If I need to leave a pet alone for any reason, I make sure they are crated or in a safe room at your house. I do my best to respond to owners' messages promptly, especially while their pets are in my care! I have two chinchillas (small rodents) of my own. They are in good health and are quite inquisitive about the other animals that come through my home! However, they are rather defenseless animals, so I don't allow them to interact directly with clients' pets, for everyone's safety and peace of mind. The chinchillas stay in an enclosure in a room that your pets won't have access to. I've had no issues keeping animals safely apart in the past, but please feel free to ask about it if you have any concerns!

A typical day
I love to go for walks -- if your dog does too, we'll have a great time exploring the city together! Your pets will also receive their usual share of cuddles and treats when they're with me!

My schedule is fairly flexible! I am generally available to provide services on both weekdays and weekends, and I try to integrate pets into as much of my daily routine as possible!
