I currently own 3 shelter dogs, three pit mixes, one is mixed with a pointer, one is an american staffordshire terrier and the baby is mixed with black lab. We used to live with a small with bichon-cocapoo mix I used to foster. I have volunteered and walked dogs at the PSPCA and have worked with a trainer to train my own dogs. I have walked, dog sat, lived with and owned a variety of large (60-80lbs) dogs. 8 years ago, I lived with 3 pit mixes, house sitting and walking them. After that, I lived with and sat for 4 large mixed breed dogs I still care for and visit from time to time. As a nanny, I have encountered mant types of dogs, and often assisted with walks and feeding, including two purebred German Shepards a Ridgeback and a special needs Whippet that had to be spoonfed in a special highchair. I love to walk and be in my city, and feel confident in my knowledge of dogs to handle what comes my way. I am very familiar with and live close to Kelly Drive, MLK Drive, The Wissahickon and Fairmount Park. I have always been a huge animal lover, ever since I was a young child. I grew up with only a cat, but often would play with friends, family and neighbor pets. I am a nanny and a musician, so I am very flexible in scheduling.
