Pet care experience
I have grown up with and taken care of dogs my whole life. I lost my Welsh Corgi to lymphoma and am not ready to get another dog, but I miss so much having one to take care of and to love. I know how hard it is to have to go to work and leave your dog at home and want to help alleviate that stress from dog owners with walking, feeding, boarding and caring for their dogs as if he/she were my own. I am looking to watch dogs that are friendly, sweet and potty trained.

Rosa you were a very terrific dog sitter for Rae! Thank you! Rosa frequently updated me on how Rae’s day was. She sent plenty of photos, and videos of Rae having fun. Rosa kept my mind at ease by communicating daily. I would absolutely recommend Rosa, as well as I will having her dog sit Rae again.

I live in a beautiful apartment complex that has a dog park and clean walking areas. I do not have any other animals so they will have my full attention. I have dog beds to keep them comfortable, dog bowls and lots of love to provide for them!

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs like medications or if they have high anxiety. Also let me know if your dog is friendly or more timid around other people or animals. I do live in a one bedroom apartment so I can’t watch dogs that bark a lot— I want to be respectful of my neighbors. Also if your dog is known to escape when opening the front door, please let me know.
A typical day
I am newer to the Sacramento area so there are tons of trails and hiking areas that I would love to take a dog with me to explore. I also would love to take them out for a socializing lunch date and go to dog parks!

Availability
I waitress at night 4-5 days a week, so I am looking to walk dogs during the day. My shifts last about 5-6 hours long so they would need to be okay with being left alone for that amount of time while at work.
