Pet care experience
I have lived with animals most of my life. We had two dogs until our beloved beagle passed away in February of last year. We also had two cats that lived to be 19 and 21 years old. Thus, in the last two years we went from having 4 pets, to only one, a mixed JRT named Yunior. We rescued him 7 years ago when he was an 8 week old puppy. I also took care of my son's cat for two years while he was stationed in Japan. At that time we had 5 fur babies living in our house. One of the reasons I take care of pets is so that Yunior has some company, since he misses his older brother. I would love for him to have a casual friend to play with.

We have 2 acres of land to walk your dog, and a fenced yard with a doggie-door where dogs can come and go as they please. Yunior loves lying in the sun on the back deck. Although our fur baby is friendly with other dogs, it is important to do a meet and greet before boarding to see if yours gets along with him.

A typical day
I love playing with dogs, entertaining them and giving them attention. When you are an empty nester, they are your babies. I also love walking them around our property. We have a long driveway, and 2 acres of land.

I'm a retired teacher, so other than occasional substituting, I'm home most of the time. I only board one pet at a time, so your fur baby will get all my love and attention.
