Welcome to your doggy’s second home in Cranston’s Riverstone neighbourhood! My name is Rory and I work from home full time which gives me the flexibility to take care of local pups. I have a large fenced backyard that overlooks a pond where we can frequently play fetch, and am only two blocks from the Bow River for frequent walks and sniffing adventures! Growing up on a farm I have taken care of animals my whole life, which gave me my passion for caring for animals while I now work from home full time. This flexibility allows me to keep an eye on your dog all day, while also being able to offer energetic walks by the bow river and around our beautiful neighbourhood of Cranston’s Riverstone next to Fish Creek Provincial Park. We also have one very well mannered, friendly and sociable dog named Willow who is always looking for a friend or two to keep your pets comfortable during their stay.

This was my first time using Rover.I was definitely a bit nervous leaving Bailey with a total stranger. Rory was great, he sent lots of photos and I didn’t worry about Bailey at all. Bailey got along well with Willow(Rory’s dog) as well. This made it a win/win for all of us. I would strongly recommend using Rory and will call on him next time I am going out of town.
Rory and Willow were excellent companions for our dog while we were away. His communication was excellent, keeping us up to date on Riley’s exercise and comfort level. Riley was happy and calm when we picked him up, with no sign of stress whatsoever. I would absolutely book with Rory again! Thank you Rory for the peace of mind you gave us while we were out of town!

I have a very friendly spayed 6 year old great dane that is great with large and small dogs (most of her friends are italian greyhounds, westies, and french bulldogs). We have a fenced in yard allowing them to do frequent potty breaks and occasional zoomies.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs that your dog needs me to take into account for. I can usually assist with anything needed, be it handling a specific raw food diet or special treats.
A typical day
I have a flexible work from home job so we will spend time together at the house all day. They’ll have the option to go outside into the backyard to play as needed. I usually end work around 3pm and depending on the weather we will do a walk around the bow river and up the hill around Cranston’s Riverstone neighbourhood.

Availability
I work from home and can keep a 24/7 eye on your pet. When sitting we won’t be leaving them at home, and will take them on daily walks around the neighborhood, including the paved walkways along the Bow River in Riverstone.
