Certified dog trainer and vet tech

Pet care experience

I've been working with companion animals for 20 years and am a nationally certified dog trainer (Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers) as well as a Fear Free Elite Certified emergency and critical care veterinary technician. I have experience with all medical conditions, ages, sizes, temperaments, and breeds of dogs. I am available for full service special needs and medical care for all ages. My dogs are my family and I know that I would rather have someone come to take care of them when I can't than boarding them with strangers, so I'm happy to provide that service to you! Having a veterinary professional is a great way to have an extra set of eyes on your dog's health. I'm picking up extra work and would love to help take care of your four legged family members. Feel free to contact me for more details.

Safety, trust & environment

My entire life has revolves around providing extraordinary care to companion animals and I treat each one as if they were my own. From quiet snuggles to long hikes and everything in between, I strive to tailor my services to each individual pet and let them show me what they need and how they prefer to interact. This is particularly important to me for pets with medical conditions or behavioral issues that might make caring for them too difficult for the average person.

Information Rory G. would like to know about your pet

For any dog, I ask for information on their temperament and health. Do they have any physical limitations? Food allergies? Medical conditions or medications? Are they generally friendly to humans and other dogs? Are there any activities that your dog really enjoys or really dislikes? I require all dogs to be up to date on their rabies vaccine.

A typical day

I love to work with dogs on simple, fun commands like spin and shake and I try to let walks be lead by the dog’s nose (a sniffari if you will). For the less active dogs, I’m happy to give plenty of belly rubs on the couch. I also have a great selection of puzzle toys available for the more inquisitive dogs that I sterilize between clients.
