**About me** I love animals, I have 9 years old (human years) dog named Charlie and he is the love my life. I’ve had Charlie since he was 8 weeks old. Growing up I've had two cats and another dog (who passed away due to aging); so I am great with animals. I value excellent customer service so I will do the best I can to provide exceptional services for your pets. **About my neighborhood** I live near Madison park where is a designated small and large dog socializing park. If you’re not comfortable with your pet going to dog parks, I can walk them around my neighborhood which is quite and clean for the most part. My apartment building has a lot of dogs so might ran into them at least once a day. **Special rules or requests** NO aggressive dogs (meaning those with biting, scratching or attacking type of behavioral history will not be hosted), NO up to date unvaccinated dogs. Must be open to get cleaned up with wipes after walks if coming inside my home.

Root went above and beyond for me while she watched my dog. My return flight kept getting delayed, but she stayed up late to bring my dog to me when I finally got home. That meant a lot to me, and I know that my dog had a nice time, so I definitely recommend booking Root!
I know my dog well enough to know that he had a great stay with Root! Root was flexible about picking up and dropping off, responded to my messages promptly, and was overall just really easy to work with. Would recommend!
Root was great with Diego. He was recovering from surgery so he was crated all day. She came to let him out and play while I was at work. Quick response and flexible
Root was great with Mirabelle, she went above and beyond by hanging out with my pup for some extra snuggle time so she wasn’t anxious. I was completely at ease with leaving her in Root’s care while out of the country.

While with me your dog will be able to do different activities such as hide and seek, catch the ball, long jogs or walks. If I am hosting your pet then they will also have a new friend to hang out with the whole time (my dog Charlie). They will also learn how to listen such as sitting when told or listen when told no; I usually do this using treats as well as by paying attention to where they're attention is.

A typical day
I live in a 1 bedroom apartment. If I were to babysit a pet in my home, then I can accommodate their needs for potty, treats (please give me heads up about any allergies ahead of time) and water as well as place to sleep. I also have hygiene products like shampoo including dry shampoo and comb. One more important thing about my home is that my dog will be present at all times (small yorki terrier and Maltese mix), usually pretty friendly with other humans or pets.

I’m currently on 2 weeks work sabbatical, I thought I could use this time people with their dogs. As I know it’s tough been dog parent with busy schedule.
