Free to roam within the house and are mainly crate free or if parents like their pets crated (pls provide crate). Pls note that boarding dogs are small to medium size and we can only board a very limited number to keep things manageable. Your pup will have plenty of human interaction in a room temperature environment and outside playtime (dependent on weather). See photos from gallery. Key Questions about your pup: - What excites and makes your pup happy? - Do they like being with people, other pups or just like sleeping? - If they like to sleep where do they usually sleep? - Younger pups (1 year) must be crate trained and be comfortable in their crate at night to unwind from the daily mental and physical stimulation. - Older pups are generally free roaming (if parents would prefer them crated, please provide own crate). We have a patio and a large fenced in backyard for plenty of outdoor exercise and they are let out frequently every 2-3 hours (most times there is someone at home) except where we might be out running errands or meals.. Timing for drop offs and pick ups are to be mutually arranged and not based on flight arrivals To avoid disruption we prefer to avoid any drop off / pick up during meetings and nap times. It does not matter if your pup is happy go lucky or thinks they are half human or a grumpy pup. The happiest pups are the clean ones (shaggy is fine) and trimmed nails as they get to go onto the couch and bedrooms where they receive the most hugs and rubs). Please note: pack some treats as they help to reinforce positive affirmation. Just enough for the boarding period. - Payment is collected via Rover upfront upon booking confirmation. Tips are optional and there is no obligation. All tips collected are distributed amongst Adoption Centers and Community / School to help fund their programs. Or you can donate directly to any worthy cause. - Meet and greet is outdoors in my back yard. Pls see gallery for indoor pictures. At meet and greet you would be able to see the inside of my house through the large windows as my house is an open concept design. - Pick up / Drop off Timing Flexible to work out timing even on Sundays and Public Holidays. And did I mention they are to be arranged mutually and not based on flight times (flight delays are notorious) also not during meetings and nap times. Pls read Important Notes: - We appreciate it if you can update your pups vaccination / flea records as per Rover requirements. - All our neighbours pups are friendly and non aggressive. However do be aware of the surroundings before letting your pup out of your vehicle without a leash. Being in a new environment they will be excited or nervous. . * pls note that I am unable to take more than 3 weeks advance booking for holiday periods. * best way to check on vacancy status is to contact me for the latest availability updates. * I cannot hold any spots until booking is made to be fair to everyone. * Due to an increasing frequency of pet parents returning early from their trip I no longer do refunds if you return early from your trip as I have a very limited number of dogs that I board per day.
