Hello, my name is Ron and I am very much looking forward to meeting your doggie(s)! It would be an understatement to say how much I love dogs. I grew up with with and around dogs. My beloved dog Sparkie recently passed away after us having over 15 years together. Spark and I spent lots of time walking, hiking, playing, and hanging at the dog park. I would be happy to host your dog during the day or to come to your home for a visit or a nice walk. While I have not formally been in the dog care business before, I have often taken care of and boarded the dogs of friends and relatives, including senior dogs. I definitely have that "knack" with dogs that any dog parent would want anyone caring for their friend to have. As a dog owner who truly cherishes his dog, I know how important it is to have someone really reliable and responsible to take care of your beloved friend. Please know that I am someone that will take the utmost care of your pet and will carefully and closely follow your guidelines/instructions. I am a mature adult who had a long career as an attorney and I recently transitioned to a new career as a coach and consultant. My new career allows me to work at home and set my own hours, so I thought hosting and walking dogs would be a great supplementary endeavor. While I live in an apartment, it is on the ground floor of a garden style (3-story) complex, and I have door that leads directly outside so it kind of has a mini-house feel. And plenty of windows for your pooch to gaze out! The area I live in has many miles paved trails for walking and my complex has a mini-fenced in dog park. Would love to hear from you and would happy to chat and discuss things before you commit to my service.

Ron treated me like one of his own and Mia loved playing with his dog Sparkie! Ron communicated frequently and sent great pics and videos. Mia came home tired and happy. Great match!
Ron was very thoughtful and diligent with my two senior dogs. He regularly sent me updates and photos which was very helpful for my peace of mind. He tailored the walks to their needs... and the rainy weather. I would definitely book him for future sittings.

I live in a ground floor apartment with a private entrance, which makes caring for dogs here convenient. if I should ever be out of my home for a short time, your dog will never be crated during these times (unless requested), but will be in a well-lit open room with windows. There is a small dog park as part of our complex that is usually empty, so with your permission your dog could get some time there. For home visits and walks, I would follow your instructions re leashing/harnessing, treats, time of walk, etc. If you have a senior or ill dog, please know that I have had experience taking care of such dogs, including providing medicine.

I don't have any breed preferences, but of course no dogs who are aggressive toward humans I am completely open to caring, visiting and walking all dogs!
A typical day
I am happy to take your dog on some nice walks at the length and timing of your wishes. Whether we would go to fenced in dog parks would be totally up to you and under your guidelines. There is a mini-dog park as part of our complex that is often empty and an opportunity for some exercise. I enjoyed playing with toys, fetch, tug-o-war etc. with my dog inside and would be happy to spend play time with your doggie.

I currently work part-time, as well as setting my own schedule. Thus, I am able to be at home during any day care and can be flexible for home visits and walks.
