Pet care experience
I grew up with a 25 lb dog until I left home for university. I’ve lived and/or cared for dogs of all sizes. I have also cared for cats of friends for long periods of time. I love getting to know the personality of animals and making them happy.

This was our first time using Rover and Ron sure did set the bar high! Our dog, who can be a bit standoffish, warmed up to him very quickly. Ron sent frequent picture updates of what our little guy was up to, and he even gave him some special treats! He took a long nap immediately after getting home, which is always a sign that he had a good time. We appreciated that Ron was a great communicator and was diligent about making sure that our dog had all of his supplies with him when we picked him up. Highly recommend!
Ron really bailed us out when another sitter canceled last minute right before a long trip we had been planning for months. Ron was able to stay at our house and take care of our two anxious dogs, getting them all the exercise they needed, and sending us daily photos, which put of our worries at ease. He is an extremely good communicator – he didn’t hesitate to message us about any question or issue that came up, which is pretty much my top priority for dog sitters and house sitters. Things come up and we want to know about them and help problem solve if necessary. I think he was a little crunched for time at the end so there was some kitchen cleaning we had to do when we got back, but otherwise the house was in good order and our transition back was smooth. The dogs seemed well exercised, well fed, and like they didn’t miss us all that much while we were gone for 3 weeks! I’d definitely book with Ron again. Thanks so much for taking care of our pups and our home!

I will do as much as the dog can! I can accommodate high energy breeds and puppies as well as older dogs who may not be able to move as much as they used to (but still love to play).
