Pet care experience
Currently I'm working from home during the day so I'm basically always around.I am an architect and my schedule is flexible. I happily walk dogs in any weather, and have previously owned a 80lb male colllie and his sons (55lb -75lb mix golden retriever with collie) . I trained all three of them with relative ease, to respond to verbal and/or hand signals. Raised in Argentina, Mendoza, I have lived almost exclusively in the DC Metropolitan area since 2012. ( more precisely in Columbia Heights).I am very experienced at walking dogs in D.C. I've been walking and sitting all types of dogs for years, big or small, old or young, I have patience for all canines regardless. I'm also an avid cat lover. I was raised with three cats and have owned cats most of my life. I'm always ready to take your dog for a walk and I prefer to take individual dogs rather than groups to avoid inconveniences /accidents such as fights between them. I do this mostly to spend quality time with peoples pets 🩷 Romy

Romy was great! I went out of town for 2 weeks and needed someone to take care of my cat Arya on short notice. Romy was super communicative and flexible, sent lots of pictures, and my cat Arya seemed happy when I got back from my travels. Will definitely book with Romy again in the future.

Please let me know your pet's eating routine, any medicine that needs to be administered, or if your dog has separation anxiety. It is important to know what triggers your dog, such as loud noises, motorcycles, other dogs on a leash, squirrels, etc.
A typical day
I have a bunch of balls that they can play with. I also like walking them around the block and occasionally, if the owner is ok with it, take them to rock creek park to walk on a trail. There is a dog park a block away which I enjoy very much.

My schedule is super flexible and I love to take many breaks while I’m home working to walk them :). I’m constantly talking to them from my computer , especially if they want to lay next to me.
