I believe dogs are very special. just as children are important to families so are dogs. I had my dog for 18 years before he had a stroke. Puppi was my more than a dog he was family. I live near a park that loves dogs and many families walk their dogs. I do not have a dog at the moment but I will be getting one soon. I enjoy being around dogs and i feel that when their owners are gone they need to feel loved safe and comfortable. I prefer to keep dogs in their own environment. They need the sense of security will their owners are away.
