I absolutely adore pets. I believe them to be members of a family and should be treated with tender loving care. Pets love their families as strongly as human beings and enjoy developing friendships with people apart from their family. I also love developing friendships with the pets of my neighbors and friends. It's important for pets to know they are cared for by their families and having a someone check in on them, walk with them and sit with them re-affirms the commitment of trust in a pet and human relationship. I have found that pets are very loyal and love freely, but their trust must be earned. Pets have taught me a great deal and they are an integral part of my day-to-day existence.
