The care that I provide is always going to be custom fit for that dog. Each dog has its own personality which should be expressed. I try to figure out if the dog is either a dog ready to go on a run with me, or more of a sunbathing type that makes for a good reading buddy. I try to make all dogs feel comfortable when I am with them. The more personal I can be with the dog, the better time we both have. This was taught to me by my grandmother. She, along with help from my mom and myself, raised Bouviers and Shih Tzus throughout my childhood. This experience, along with me growing up with a Siberian Husky, Australian Shepherd, and a Chihuahua, has molded me into a caring and loving dog person.
