I've always considered myself a dog's best friend rather than the other way around. I've taken care of several pets (cats too) in the BPC and FiDi neighborhood with many repeat customers. I have experience with dogs of many breeds, ages, and sizes. I'm friendly, kind, mature, observant, and attentive to the needs of your furry friend.

We had a great experience with Roger. Roger was very attentive to Lily. So glad he was able to make time on a holiday weekend to watch her. I highly recommend Roger and just hope he'll be available for future drop in needs.
Roger was great with our 3-month old retriever Boomer! He was super flexible, communicative, and easy to coordinate with. He even moved around his schedule because Boomer was still too young (a wild card) to hang out without supervision. He did several walks & hung out with him all day - and shared photos! I really appreciate what Roger did for Boomer. He was a very happy pup both days.
Roger took care of our Maltipoo Samy for three days while we were visiting New York. Samy is quite attached to me and gets quite nervous when I leave. But Roger handled him very well with a lot of patience and kindness. He was also very flexible and quick to answer. We are very thankful to him for taking care of our doggy so well. We will definitely book again if we go back to NYC.

I live steps from the Hudson River Esplanade in a doorman building in an area that is a doggie's dream for walks. Inside my apartment, your pets have their own chill spaces, blankets, or sofa, and I'm always there for them to play, feed, scratch, or just rest and relax.

The most important thing is to know if the dog is friendly with other dogs as I may sometimes have more than one guest. Otherwise, I understand each dog has their own unique needs, and we can go over any additional info by scheduling a meet and greet.
A typical day
I live right by the water so all of the local parks, the Esplanade, dog-runs, and nature are right outside my door. Usually walks will take us up and down the Esplanade, or at your request, a nearby dog-run.
