Pet care experience
I've had pets all my life, primarily dogs. I've been the loving human for a 14-year-old Chiweenie -- my chill, fur daughter, Coco -- since she was a pup. I've also cared for pets and house sat for several friends and family over the years. With so many years of pet parenting behind me, I'll approach caring for your dog as if they were my own. I live quite an active lifestyle, so I'm happy to take your dog for long walks or jogs, depending on your dog's ability and your preferences. I can also just visit and pay them as much attention as they need. As a digital nomad, I have a remote job that affords me the flexibility to travel for overnight and longer stays, if you need to be away from home for a while. Open to house/petsitting anywhere in the SF Bay Area. I also enjoy travel with purpose, so I can house sit and/or care for your pet while I'm visiting your area. Just let me know your unique situation and requirements. I'll do my best to cater your pet care experience to fit all your needs!

Rod is my go to guy for house sitting. I have a Pomeranian and two cats that absolutely love him. He has always been reliable which helps put me at ease when I have to take a trip. He always takes lots of pictures and sends them to me while I am traveling and I really appreciate the communication. My dog likes a lot of attention so I am always a little bit nervous to leave her with someone new, but she is always excited to see Rod. I always come home to happy animals and a clean house. I can’t recommend Rod enough. He always takes the stress out of having to leave my animals when I travel whether it be for a weekend trip or a week away. I know they are in good hands.
Rod has watched my dogs several times. He cares for my animals better than I do, it’s just a fact. He walks them, I have a backyard. He takes them to the park. My home is always cleaner than I left it when he stays over. I can’t recommend him enough, he’s respectful, reliable, so courteous, so considerate, great at communicating. I feel lucky to have found him, because I know I can enjoy myself completely when my dogs and home are in his care.

I love walking or running with dogs, so can take them around the neighborhood or on nearby trails. I can also provide play time activities with their favorite chew toys or balls to fetch. If they're well-socialized, I don't mind bringing them to local dog parks to run around and play with other dogs for a while.
