Pet care experience
After 40 years of working in tech, I retired in 2021. I have cared for pets since I was a young girl and only recently became a pet 'empty nester'. This is the first time I have not had an animal in my home. While I miss that greeting at the front door from our dog or that 'cat'itude, I feel Rover is an opportunity stay connected with pets while providing service to others. I have experience with elder animals and those needing medicine. I walk/hike daily and would love to take your furry friend along.

Rochelle recently watched our dog for 4 nights. She sent daily updates and photos of our dog. We could tell from the photos that our dog was happy and comfortable at Rochelle's!! Rochelle walked her multiple times a day even when the weather wasn't the greatest. We highly recommend Rochelle!
Rochelle was amazing. She took such good care of our dog-took her on several walks, communicated daily, responded quickly and was truly just a kind, accommodating person. This was our first time leaving her with someone outside of family and she made me so comfortable with the situation. Cali will be thrilled to go back next time!
Rochelle is fabulous! She takes wonderful care of our dogs. They get many walks and she sent photos of their stay. I am thankful we connected with her. Look forward to future daycare and overnight visits with her.

I have a fully fenced yard and room for your pet to run around in the back yard. We are very careful that your pet will not get out the front door without being held from running out. Safety is key to all of my caregiving opportunities. Please note: Day Care hours are 7am - 5pm. M-F only.

It's key to understand any special needs, behavior concerns re: other dogs, kids, and general activity requirements. Clear instructions with any medications is requested as well to ensure pet health is maintained. Additionally - all guests will need to be current with their vaccines and on flea treatments.
A typical day
I walk/hike daily. Heinz Preserve, St. Joseph's Hill, and Vasona park are frequent areas I walk - along with 'urban' walks in the neighborhood. I love to play fetch in the backyard as well.

I am retired, though I do work part time at an event venue. I generally work evenings and know my schedule days in advance which provides me with a very flexible schedule.
