Pet care experience
I was about 7 1/2 when I started caring for my first pet. We had family pets already. This little hamster; whose favorite activity was to keep me up all night repeatedly lifting and dropping his door, just because he could; was all mine. Bless his heart 😂 Since then, I don’t think I’ve spent much time without a pet to care for. Either my own, friends/family, foster/rescue, or just a baby bird shoved out of its nest. I helped my mother raise and train Australian shepherd puppies, and I’ve raised and trained pitbull and miniature pinscher puppies. In addition I also have experience with multiple other breeds of dogs, cats, birds, rodents, reptiles, fish, goats, pigs, chickens (also a bird lol). I have experience caring for senior and disabled/special needs dogs. I am comfortable administering medication (including injections). My Min Pin turned 16 this last December, my Pitbull made it to almost 17 before she passed, and my Mini Aussie will be 10 this year.

Tex (my year old Great Dane) loves going to Rochelle's!! He is a frequent flyer lol.... I love knowing that when I leave for work Tex is always at home with Rochelle! She has made this awesome dog friendly back yard and the dogs have their own room 😍 walks, treats, play time all with structure! I get daily updates and pictures every visit!
Fantastic! My dog is a crazy one and she handled him amazingly! He was very exhausted and was actually calm once we got home lol was great!
All around great experience! We will certainly be back again :)
Rochelle had great communication and loved our dogs as if they were her own! We received so many wonderful photos and videos of them throughout the stay. We would love to book with her again!

I have a fenced in yard that is visible from inside the house through large windows in the living and dining rooms. There are two separately fenced in dog runs within the main outer fence, along with a fenced pathway going out to them. The majority of the time the gates to the runs are left open so that they can be freely accessed by doggie door. I have two dogs of my own, so your dogs will have some company when they come over. One of them already thinks everyone who comes over is here for her, the other one is 16 and takes a little longer to warm up to new friends. She’s not aggressive, just bossy and opinionated. Inside the house I have a doggie playroom. Here they have their toys (at least they start here lol) along with a king size mat to play on. There is a TV that I leave on playing soothing music videos that show dogs walking/playing/out in nature. This is also where they eat. I set up crates so everyone has their own personal space to eat in. There is a gate on the doorway, so it can be used as a separate area if I have a dog/dogs that need one, otherwise the gate here also remains open and they will have free roam of the house as if it were their own.

Information Rochelle E. would like to know about your pet
Ultimately, like I would tell my kid parents when I ran childcare, any information that helps me take care of your babies while they are with me is important information. Could be as simple as a favorite toy, ways to be comforted, or favorite treats. Or could be more in depth special needs, health issues, behavioral quirks/issues, anxieties. The more I know about your pet and their personality and regular routine, the better I can make their stay with me.
A typical day
Depending upon personality, a day could go many different ways for your pup. I have a collection of toys available for play. We can throw balls in the yard (or the house) or just run around and get some exercise. My dogs and I also like to walk the neighborhood, and sniff flowers by some of the creeks. Then when we’re tired from all this, or if we’re just feeling lazy, we can just flop down on the big couch and rest.

Availability
I do Rover from home full time. I can be available for drop-off/pick-up between 6:00am and 10:00pm, both weekdays and weekends. My husband also works from home. Between the two of us we can always have someone available to play, watch after, care for your doggo’s needs.
