We were gone for 8 days in Italy. We have extremely bad luck with the dog sitters so we met with her twice to be as clear as possible, and then left a print out of instructions. We explained how desperate we were for someone who would just be there for the dogs - follow instructions and nothing else. I will just post the facts. -We were very clear in our instructions not to leave the dogs more than 5 hours, as 1 is very old and the other is very scared. On 3 different occasions we caught her on the ring camera being gone for much longer. One day was 9 hours. We had to message her to get her to come back. -At one point her husband just messaged us and told us he had someone over to the house. We did not give permission and definitely did not want anyone else in our home. Extremely frustrating being Italy, waiting for a stranger to exit your home. -Just a lot of - car broke down, need to take care of someone else, working on their car in our driveway at 2:00am. Among several other frustrations. Including over watering plants I said not to worry about. Our flooring was ruined in one spot because they put paper towels under an overwatered plant - which held water against our wooden flooring that is now bowed. Overall, we were stressed most of the time and had to watch the cameras to ensure someone would actually come back, or that no one else was in the house. Coming home, the dogs were exhausted and stressed. Just not a good experience.

Rochelle took care and loved my pups as much and as well as I do. She sent plenty of pictures and updates throughout the day to keep my mind at ease. She also was respectful of my home and left it clean and tidy. I would definitely rebook with her for any future needs.
