Pet care experience
Before you read on, please note I cannot accept the following dogs below. If you are really in a tough situation without a sitter, I will do my best to help out, but will need to assess an additional fee to properly accommodate these pups. *Long haired pups who shed (e.g. Huskies, Golden Retrievers, some German Shepherds). I am allergic and have had to call a service to come clean after long haired pups. *High energy & diggers. Unfortunately, I am on a 1/4 of an acre & tend to be on zooms. Calm and low energy pups are preferred to keep up with grass growth. But if a need is urgent, pls reach out! *Excessive droolers. I do have some cloth furniture and c hardwood. Droolers make it a skip and slide :) *Pups that are not housebroken. These pups tend to have the most accidents on blankets, beds and other furniture which is costly to clean. *Pups under 18 months require an extra set of eyes in my home and yard. I have to bring on help to keep a watchful eye on these little guys. Updating my profile to share that my little guy passed away so I do not have any dogs of my own at this time. Hi Soon-To-Be-Friends! I grew up with parents who bred and raised dogs. We started with Afghans, Dobies and Rottweilers. I have had a Husky, Pitbull and a Boxer. I help my good friend with her 5 pedigreed American Bullies, as well. Once I got older, I developed an allergy to furry dogs, so short haired or hypo allergenic dogs are preferred. If your pup can catch bunnies, squirrels, birds or mice, I am not the right yard for your loved one. We live near a forest preserve so there's wildlife that visit often. I have been dog sitting for decades on and off. Hypo allergenic dogs & very clean short haired pups can sleep in the bed with me if that’s where they feel safest. I aim to minimize pet anxiety and make it comfortable for them. I do have a reactions to strong dander so I have many orthopedic beds and other furniture your pups can sleep on if not in bed with me. I work from home so my home is best for dogs who prefer lounging in the yard or exercising in the yard over walks. I am unable to take long walks as work has picked up, but I'll update this when that changes. Prefer low to moderate energy. Otherwise, I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members.

Robynn has been caring for our 15 year old dog for quite a while now. I could not imagine what we would do without such an amazing person watching our dog. Willie is always excited to see her and we are thrilled to have someone we trust so much care for him while we are away. Robynn truly is a wonderful woman!!

TRUST I try not to leave the house for longer than 30 minutes when I have pups in my care, and I will ALWAYS let you know if I am doing that, why I'm doing it and the arrangements for your pup while I am gone. If something major requires my attention, all my back up help is connected to the dog industry - groomer, trainer, sitter, etc. SAFETY My father used to train our Dobies in English, ASL and German. He did scent tracking and security training. While I do not promise to be a master in this area, I can also help w keeping up with any training you’re working on. Whatever your routine, I’m pretty sure I can accommodate it. I have a board on my fridge with your name, your pet's name, their meds/food frequency and any other special notes you’ve provided in the CARE INFO tab of the app. I use Google to set alarms to ensure we don’t miss meds or walks or anything else you’ve asked of me. I have ramps for aging little dogs to get up and down on the couch. The living room has been arranged to allow the pups comfort and has pillows and cushions around the floor for plenty of sleep options and helps if someone does tumble off the couch. I have an excess amount of poop bags, dog bowls and toys. You don’t have to bring anything except your pup, their meds, a harness and food! Anything extra is at risk of being chewed, misplaced or possibly pottied on, so best leave it at home. Please label everything with your pup's name. Please send enough food for just the stay plus 1-2 days depending on if you're local or take an international trip. There isn't a ton of space for stuff and large bags of extra dog food. 🙏🏽 Please send the same on medication, just what's needed. ENVIRONMENT Your pets will have complete freedom to sit on furniture and hang out with me unless you have restrictions or prefer otherwise. I do have 3 small crates for little dogs & one large crate for bigger dogs if you prefer your dog to be crated. I do not crate unless you have a mischievous pup and I have to leave my home for any reason.

If your pup can have any human food like frozen peas or carrots. Can your pup navigate stairs easily and do they recall? I will always check back to what you put in Rover so please try to give me as much information as possible to make your dog’s stay wonderful!
A typical day
I do a lot of exercise in the backyard like playing catch with balls or frisbees, puppy pool if permitted by the humans or whatever makes your pet feel most comfy in my home and in my presence. I take glamour shots when I have a light workload and do more when I can, paw massages and paw butter; so you will see their fun vacation with me! On days where I have a light workload, and the weather is warm enough for me, I will take walks on the walking or nature trails depending on the dog's preferences. I cannot, however, always offer this service.I have health issues with extreme heat and extreme cold temps. If the weather is balanced with work, we walk about 1.5 miles 2-3 times a day.

Availability
SCHEDULE I am blessed that I work from home but can frequently be on zooms. I make my own schedule and don't go out much, except the occasional dinner or errand. On occasion, I may have a coworker or my business partner stop by to drop off photos/video footage, etc, or work from the basement studio to finish a project. They LOVE dogs and sit as well. On weekends I may have my mom or my dad over for lunch to visit with the pups since they love animals and are older.
