Pet care experience
I’ve raised ridgebacks and Mastiffs from puppies including daily training. Training was done with treats, tonality and, for the ridgebacks, hand gestures as they do beach walks where the wind silences calls. I’ve taken care of a variety of breeds from border collies to St Bernards to pit bull terriers. I have a Trusted Housesitters profile where other pet care experience is listed with reviews.

Our dog loves Robyn & Elia. They both are kind and caring with her. We know she is in good hands when we have to travel abroad. We feel very lucky we found them.
Robyn was amazing. She clearly has a deep love and understanding of dogs, which is evident from the moment we dropped Nero off. She kept us up to date and put lots of thought into our pup’s weekend stay with her. Lots of both physical and mental stimulation. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Robyn to anyone.
Robyn stepped in for a last minute emergency and I’m so happy she did. I cannot even explain how good her and her husband were with Astro: they respected his boundaries, incentivated him with puzzle toys and took care of him as we do. I cannot be anything but extremely happy and grateful. I believe we find a match and I hope Astro gets to spend more time with them.

I have a small home with a private but small courtyard. Our neighbours are accustomed times to us having pets around. There is a park 10min from the house where I would walk dogs and, if safe to do so, allow them to run freely. We have pet food bowls and poo bags should you not have a preference. If I were to provide pet care in your home, I would treat it as my own.

I like to know your pets anxiety triggers (eg doesn't like their head touched, balloons are scary), normal eating, drinking and potty habits. All of these bits of information will help me more accurately monitor their condition throughout the stay.
A typical day
We are surrounded by 3 parks which assist in providing new sensory experiences for dogs. In addition to various chew and tug toys, we have a few sniff toys. My favourite is a brain-training game with 5 levels of difficulty to keep your dog stimulated, entertained and brain-trained.

Availability
I work remotely from home, mostly 9-6pm, however I can start earlier, later or similar to accommodate your pets needs. My weekends are spent outdoors as much as possible.
