I've had animals around my entire life - ours and fosters. We always had cats, dogs, and fish. I went to college for marine science but had internships caring for animals that included dogs, sea lions, camels, birds, and reptiles. One of my internships included caring for up to 9 dogs (all labs, so I'm comfortable with larger breeds) at a time. My favorite part about working with the dogs was building relationships with each one and learning their individual personalities. I currently own 3 geckos, a bearded dragon, a snake, and a cat. I am starting a Disney Internship full time, but I would love to play with dogs on my days off! Also, I like to run, and would love a doggy running buddy!
